ULTRA FACTORY

ULTRA FACTORY is a production studio that was established under the motto of enabling creative activities in a better environment using better facilities for all students, and it can be used by all students of any year enrolled in any course of the university. The studio for metalworking and resin molding (667m2) is equipped with a lathe, a milling machine, and a welding machine and has special spaces for resin molding and paintwork. The woodwork room (260m2) enabling users to conduct various work with wood, also has a large variety of equipment and machinery including a panel saw, a cross-cut saw, a table saw, etc. Students can use this equipment on condition they are taking a training course related to each material or technique, and a permanently stationed technical official offers them instruction regarding the usage.
Moreover, the factory does not limit it activities to merely providing the hardware – it also provides great programs and serves as a base for planning of various projects gathering plenty of attention in the world, such as our practical program "ULTRA PROJECT," in which the leading artists and designers from all over the world are invited to create art together, or the art competition "ULTRA AWARD," in which the students currently enrolled in the courses of the university and the graduates participate and are chosen and educated to become world class artists.
