- Tsutsumi Takuya is a curator and a graphic designer, based in the Kansai region of Western Japan. Since 2018, he has served as Program Director for the shared studio space “Yamanaka Suplex.” He was a director and curator for an alternative space in Kyoto from 2013 to 2016, working with local cultural practitioners. After a yearlong residency in Poznan, Poland, he went on to obtain his MA in cultural studies at Adam Mickiewicz University in 2019. Some of his main curatorial projects include Share-Meeting 2: The Successive Gathering and Momentum of Becoming (2025, Shiga), Ghost Mountain Ghost Shovel: Charting the Contours of Time (2023, Kyoto), Takuya Yamashita solo exhibition (2023, Taipei), Aichi Triennale 2022 (Aichi), Salt of the Blood, Light of my world (2021, Tokyo/Kyoto), The Analogical Mirrors (2020, Shiga).
