- Kanazawa Kodama completed the Master's program in Art Education and Aesthetics at the Tokyo University of the Arts and the Contemporary Art Curating Course at the Royal College of Art, London. After 12 years of working at public art museums such as the Contemporary Art Museum, Kumamoto, they began working as an independent curator in 2013. Recent exhibitions they have curated or participated in include "Gazing at Spring" (The Terminal Kyoto, Kyoto, 2024), "Art Rhizome Kyoto 2024: Gekiryo Kyoto" (10 locations in Kyoto, 2024), Gangwon International Triennale (Pyeongchang, South Korea, 2024), "Inter+Play", "AKI INOMATA: Significant Otherness", "Stranger Than Fiction", "Mohri Yuko: Assume That There Is Friction and Resistance", "Rafael Rozendaal: Generosity" (Towada Art Center, Aomori, 2018–2022), "Yokohama Paratriennale 2020" (Yokohama), "Hangzhou Triennial of Fiber Art" (Zhejiang Art Museum and others, Hangzhou, 2019), "Enfance" (Palais de Tokyo, Paris, 2018), among others. Through their unit "Code-a-Machine" with Shinichiro Masui, they also handle commercial projects, such as the installation of art in office buildings. Notable projects include the Tokiwa-bashi Tower (Tokyo, Mitsubishi Estate).
