- After completing my master’s degree in Media Creation at the Institute of Advanced Media Arts and Sciences (IAMAS) in 2013, I joined the design consulting firm softdevice. There, I worked on product renewals and new business development design in collaboration with clients such as NTT DOCOMO and Medicaroid. To give form to yet-unseen value, I practice digital design that cuts across information engineering and cognitive psychology. I hold multiple patents from projects I have contributed to, and I am currently conducting research in media history and science and technology studies.

- What kind of things are you surrounded by right now? The phone in your hand, the desk in front of you, the clothes you’re wearing, the walls and lights in your room—if you look around, all sorts of objects will come into view. Every one of them is something someone once imagined and brought into form. At some point in time, someone thought: “Could this technology be used in this way? Would people be happy if it took this shape?” Let’s learn together how to turn ideas for someone else into reality.
