- In 2014, Jialiang Liu graduated from Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue (UQAT) with a degree in Création et Nouveaux Médias. Building on this foundation, she went on to complete a master’s degree in the Imaging Arts Course at the Graduate School of Art and Design, Musashino Art University, in 2019. In 2024, she furthered her academic journey by earning a Ph.D. in Design and Configuration studies from the Musashino Art University. Since 2017, Jialiang has been an active artist, with works screened in approximately 25 countries and recognized with over 120 awards. Notable achievements include receiving the Grand Prize in the VR category at the "Tokushima 4K+NEXT - 4K/VR Tokushima Film Festival (2022)”, an official screening in the Maquette section of the “Cannes International Film Festival (2021)”, the ASIA DESIGN PRIZE Award (2020), and the Florence Film Awards (2019).
