- Born 1972 in Hiroshima. Graduated 1994 from Nihon University College of Art. Awarded an overseas scholarship from the Agency for Cultural Affairs for emerging artists, she studied and lived in New York, 2007-2012. Publications of collected photography include: “Comment te dire adieu” ; 2004, “I don’t sleep” ; 2009 and “Here Goes River “; 2017. Solo exhibitions include Here Goes River (Ginza Nikon Salon, 2017); and Ayako, and her metaphysical study; (Ginza Guardian Garden, 2017). She has won the Newcomer’s Award, Photographic Society of Japan (2010); the Ina Nobuo Award (2016); the Kimura Ihei Award (2018); and the Hayashi Tadahiko Award (2018). 'Here Goes River' is a fresh and emerging snapshot work that expresses historical tragedy latent in the present Hiroshima's everyday life.
