Profile
Born in China. Holds an MFA in Design Theory from Northwest University, as well as an MA in Science of Design and a Ph.D. in Art and Design from Musashino Art University.

Her research explores the interplay between theory and practice regarding "place," grounded in social design, critical design, and Practice-Based Research (PBR). By traversing phenomenological aesthetics, human geography, and ethnographic perspectives, she aims to construct novel design methodologies.

Having served as a Special Lecturer at Musashino Art University, she has been deeply engaged in industry-academic collaborative projects and visual fieldwork education. Her professional practice extends beyond academia to include VI and book design, curation, and cross-disciplinary collaborations with architects and designers, alongside contributing as a columnist for cultural journals.

As a member of the artist unit "1220," she develops artistic practices both in Japan and internationally. Utilizing visual media such as photography, video, and collage, she creates installations that oscillate between research and production to reconstruct the memories and narratives of specific places.
