Qualifications for Admission

Applicants must fulfill any one of following conditions:

1 Those who have graduated from any universities in Japan (or expected to graduate by March 2020)
2 Those who have been awarded a Bachelor's degree by the National Institution for Academic Degrees and University Evaluation (NIAD-UE) (or expected to be awarded by March 2020)
3 Those who have completed 16 years of school curriculum in foreign countries (or expected to complete by March 2020) as well as have been awarded bachelor's degree (or expected to be awarded by March 2020.) "Preliminary Review for the Admission Requirements" is required before applying.
* Except students of Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho: MEXT) Scholarship (Embassy Recommendation)
4 Those who have completed post-secondary courses at specified specialized training colleges (or expected to complete by March 2020.)
5 Those specified by the Minister of MEXT.
6 Those who are recognized as having academic abilities equivalent or better than university graduates by our graduate school and will reach 22 years of age by March 31, 2020.
<Remarks>

※Proficiency in Japanese (reading, writing, conversation) is essential for studying in the Kyoto University of Art and Design.

Qualifications for Admission

Applicants must fulfill any one of following conditions:

1 Those who have a Master's degree (or expected to obtain one by March 2020. In such cases, "Certificate of Completion" needs to be submitted before the entrance.)
2 Those who have been awarded a degree equivalent to a master's degree in foreign countries (or expected to be awarded by March 2020) "Preliminary Review for the Admission Requirements" is required before applying.

*Except students of Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho: MEXT) Scholarship (Embassy Recommendation)
3 Those who have completed a school curriculum in foreign universities and have passed the qualifying examination that evaluate to have ability to start doctoral program (or expected to pass by March 2020.)
4 Those specified by the Minister of MEXT.
5 Those who are recognized as having academic abilities equivalent or better than university graduates by our graduate school.
