- Endo gave birth to and raised her daughter while studying abroad in the Netherlands, and was inspired by the social affluence of the country's widespread, high-quality design in their public spaces. This inspiration led her to work on the spatial design of public cultural and educational facilities (such as museums) as well as conduct participatory designing of architectures, all based on the idea of "making places where everyone from kids to grown-ups can cultivate their imagination."
Major works include "Hakone Art-Loop" (2007, Hakone Open-air Museum, Japan), "Garden for Children" (2010, Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo), “NHK E-television, Inai-Inai-Bah!” (2011), "Maternity Houses in Zambia" (2011~), "Fukuoka Science Museum" (2017), "ART PLAYGROUND ~PLAY~" (2019, Aichi Triennale).
Awards received include "JCD Design Award, the Rookie of the Year award" (2008, Japan Commercial Environmental Design Association), "Innovative Architects of the Year Award" (2015, the Tokyo Society of Architecture and Building Engineers).
