- Graduated from the Department of Philosophy, Faculty of Letters, Kyoto University in 1998, completed the Master's program at Thunderbird School of Global Management in 2002, completed the Master's program at Kyoto University of Art and Design in 2018, and completed the Ph.D. program at Kyoto University of Art and Design in 2024. Worked on the launch of new businesses at Shochiku Co., Ltd. in 2005, became independent in 2008, worked on the launch of new businesses for companies. He has been teaching at the Nagoya University of Commerce and Business School since 2013. He has been a producer for the Agency for Cultural Affairs' Japan Heritage Project since 2015. He is a member of the Oita Prefecture Cultural Properties Protection Council. His publications include “IDEA HACKS!” and “TIME HACKS!” (Toyo Keizai Inc.), “Business Model” (Discover 21), and he has also translated “Business Model Generation” (Shoeisha).
